In 2025, organizers are excited to bring a hot air balloon festival to Rossville, TN, a suburb just east of Memphis, TN. The weekend of events include a mass ascension of balloons at sunrise each day and then in the afternoon the festival grounds will be opened at 3 p.m. as a ticketed event to enjoy carnival rides, food vendors, arts and crafts vendors, live music and later in the afternoon (after 6 p.m.) tethered balloon rides (for additional fees) and a balloon glow at dark. (Weather Permitting) The afternoon will be a ticketed event. Festival hours are 3 p.m. – 10 p.m.
